FOLSOM POINT SELECTED TO DEVELOP INTERNET STRATEGY FOR AVOLENT

(Boulder, CO) - Folsom Point, Inc., a consulting firm focused on providing innovative marketing and Internet strategies, has been selected by Avolent, Inc. to develop a strategic plan for redesigning and launching its corporate web site.

Avolent, an industry leader in software solutions for Internet billing, invoicing and interactive customer care, recently completed a successful merger with Solant in 4Q 2000. Now, the company seeks to maintain its existing corporate brand while introducing new features, functionality and best practices from the Solant site.

"Approaching the site relaunch from a strategic viewpoint is the best way to ensure you don't waste money when you're developing a web site," commented Randy Burgess, Director of Corporate Communications for Avolent. "Folsom Point will be able to provide us with an unbiased perspective on what functionality we should add to the site and what our customers want from their online experience."

To develop Avolent's Internet strategy, Folsom Point will conduct strategic workshops, perform an online competitive analysis, and define the requirements and metrics required for the next-generation site. Folsom Point's strategic planning process involves a phased rollout with initial site enhancements within four to six weeks.
