FOLSOM POINT PROVIDES CUSTOMER INSIGHT TO COLORADO BUSINESSES
Bridging the Gap Between Products and Customers to Achieve Greater Value
March 30, 2004
(Boulder, CO) - Folsom Point, Inc., a strategic marketing consulting firm, helped three area organizations better understand customer requirements, define corresponding value propositions and drive an increase in sales through in-depth customer research, surveys and one-on-one interviews.
Working with the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, Folsom Point conducted a Customer Perception Analysis to gather unbiased insight into the perceptions, programs and messages that existing and prospective members find valuable. The findings will assist the Denver Metro Chamber in creating new programs, developing communication strategies, and streamlining operations to retain and grow its membership base throughout the Metro-area.
"Folsom Point provided the objectivity we needed," said Robert Blankenship, Chief Operating Officer of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. "It's easy for an organization to believe it knows what its members want, but I think it's far smarter to validate and realign those beliefs directly with your customers. Their analysis ensures that we will continue to deliver member value which will translate into our ability to meet growth objectives over the next three to five years."
Folsom Point also worked with the Millennium Harvest House to conduct a Customer Segmentation Analysis. "By identifying and focusing on the best prospects for new business, our sales and marketing team is more effective and efficient. The customer research that Folsom Point completed helped us streamline the sales process as we work towards this year's sales goals," said Dan Pirrallo, General Manager of Millennium Harvest House.
Today, marketing is not exclusively the domain of business. Folsom Point assisted the Institute for Community and Professional Development, the continuing education division of Front Range Community College, by providing research into customer segments and marketing best practices within the industry. Janel Highfill, Director of the Center for Workforce Development and the Community Learning Center Institute said, "We found out what community members were looking for in continuing education and learned what type of marketing programs work from colleges around the country. We are set to better maximize our marketing budget."
"It's exciting to help different types of organizations understand what their customers want. If you don't seek customer input, how can you deliver value," said Nicky Lee, CEO of Folsom Point, Inc. "Our qualitative research unearths insights that help organizations keep focused on customer value. This leads to improved products and services, increased sales, greater customer satisfaction -- real results-oriented marketing."
