FOLSOM POINT AWARDED SECOND ROUND OF T-REX INCENTIVE FUNDING TO ASSIST COLORADO'S SMALL BUSINESSES

Company Will Provide Marketing and Sales Programs Throughout the State

(Boulder, CO) - Folsom Point, Inc., a marketing and sales consulting firm, was awarded a contract for the second consecutive year through the T-REX Incentive Funding program. The fund enables industry experts to provide skill-building programs and support services for small and disadvantaged business enterprises (SBE/DBEs). Folsom Point will provide marketing, sales, and government procurement training, as well as one-on-one consulting services throughout Colorado in 2004.

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the Regional Transportation District (RTD) developed a small and disadvantaged business incentive program specifically for the T-REX Project. This one-of-a-kind program provides $495,000 per year to Southeast Corridor Constructors (SECC), the T-REX Project contractor, who then funds programs and services that help SBE/DBEs become more competitive when targeting private or public sector projects.
