FOLSOM POINT RECEIVES T-REX GRANT FOR FOURTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

(Boulder, CO) - For the fourth year in a row, Folsom Point, Inc., a marketing consulting firm, was awarded a grant through the T-REX Incentive Funding Program to provide small business training programs along the Front Range. The unique grant was developed by the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), the Regional Transportation District (RTD) and Southeast Corridor Constructors (SECC) to support programs that enhance small business competitiveness.
Since 2002, $2.5 million has been given to 34 support programs that provide training to the Colorado small and minority business community. Folsom Point is the only firm to be awarded this grant since its inception. This year, Folsom Point will offer two different day-long seminars, Winning Government Proposals and Marketing Boot Camp, in Fort Collins, Colorado Springs and Denver. The firm will also provide one-on-one consulting to 12 firms through a mentoring process that focuses on branding, marketing, sales, proposal development and contract negotiation.
Last year, Folsom Point provided mentoring services to assist firms in developing winning proposals. Said Jasmin Espy, President of Summit Staffing Personnel Services, "Folsom Point's support and guidance in responding to a [city government] RFP made a difference in the quality and professionalism of our response, which has definitely paid off. I received a call from the agency indicating that they wanted to enter into an agreement with my company. We would not have been successful without your advice and counsel."

"Last year, we helped a woman-owned business land a $100,000 contract with a military base. We've also facilitated subcontracts with large primes like CH2M Hill.
