FOLSOM POINT AWARDED MBE GOLF CLASSIC SCHOLARSHIP

Scholarship Funds Attendance at Executive Management Program

May 23, 2003

(Boulder, CO) - Nicky Lee, CEO of Folsom Point, Inc., is the 2003 recipient of the Rocky Mountain Minority Supplier Development Council's MBE Golf Classic Scholarship. With this award, she will attend the Minority Business Executive Program (MBEP) at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration this July. The MBEP is a five-day, on-campus executive management program for minority business owners and key officers.

"I remain impressed by the Council's commitment in providing continuous education opportunities for its minority business enterprises. As minority business owners, I believe we must uphold a level of professionalism beyond expectations; be supportive of each other's growth opportunities; and commit to providing more strategic services to corporations if we ever hope to reach parity with small businesses as a whole," said Lee. "I am honored to receive this award. The Tuck program offers a structured method of thinking about each facet of a business, increasing the odds that our business will succeed, as well as those of our clients."

Since its 1980 debut as the nation's first minority business education program, MBEP has helped minority managers improve their ability to make business decisions through better use of financial data, market-focused strategies, performance management, organizational communications, growth ideas, and SWOT analyses.
